This is the 1st re-construction of rol-ovir 2. When I uploaded it to this site, this was the version that I made.

I corrected all the silly spelling mistakes, as they were just there because of the fast that the rol-ovir games were originally made for a website I was doing as a coursework.

Amazingly, a few people seemed to prefer the original spelling, but most thought of it as merely a nuisance.

The title - Skears - was chosen because this was what the targets were originally called.

I changed the graphics, making the targets vibrating outlines. I felt that this was more stylish and it also meant that on levels such as level 6, you can clearly see where red skears overlap purple ones - a problem in the original version.

Unfortunately, the more complex graphics meant that the game can run slow, most noticably on level 4.

This is a great shame, as fuzzy, vibrating stuff looks great in my opinion. For the proper 3rd game, I'll probably have to use still graphics.

Here is a list of all the versions of this game which have been made.

There isn't an incredible difference between the different versions, but I thought you might be interested to see them anyway.

They are listed in chronological order, so if you see them all 1 by 1, you'll get an idea of how the game was developed.

This is the original game, rol-ovir. There are only 2 levels.

Here is the 2nd game - rol-ovir 2. The 1st 2 levels are slightly easier and there are 8 new ones.

Here is the original Skears. I corrected the spelling and made new graphics (fuzzy outlines of squares).

Here is a version of Skears with different graphics (filled fuzzy squares).

In this next version, I made the thing run in low-quality mode. It looks totally different.

Here is a version of rol-ovir 2 with the rotating square deleted.

I started Skears 2, but it remains incomplete since it isn't good enough.

Here's a slowed down version of the above game.
