In Ontario, across Canada and around the world, The Salvation Army is at work helping families and individuals by providing not only for immediate needs, but in helping people to find their way to a more secure and fulfilling life. Members of the Church and Community volunteers work together to help others.

Food Bank

The Salvation Army Oakville Community Church Community Services
runs a Food Bank for residents of Oakville at the Church.

The Food Bank is open 9:00 - 12:00 and 1:00 - 4:00 You must make an appointment. Call us for an appointment at 905 - 827 -6523 We welcome donations of non-perishable food. MAP

Legal Advice Clinic

The Oakville Community Church, in cooperation with Legal Aid,
hosts a Legal Advice Clinic every Wednesday at the Church.

The clinic is open from 7 pm to 10 pm. Please bring relevant documents. No appointment is necessary. Questions? Call: 905 845 7591 MAP

The Halton Lighthouse Shelter

The Halton Lighthouse is an integral component of the continuum of services, which are provided through various community agencies across the Region.
