The Salvation Army Oakville Community Church
welcomes your help in our service to people in need.
The Salvation Army is a church, but, wherever it is found,
it is also active as a social services and relief agency. |
Help Us to Help Others
In Oakville, in Ontario, across Canada and around the world, The Salvation Army is at work helping families and individuals by providing not only for immediate needs, but in helping people to find their way to a more secure and fulfilling life.
Members of the Church and Community volunteers work together to help others.
Where You Come In
Thanks to your generous support, The Salvation Army is Canada’s largest independent provider of a broad range of social services. And though we’re proud of what we do, we recognize that it isn’t nearly enough. The need continues to be much greater than our ability to meet it.
You can help us to make a difference
in the quality of life in Oakville in many ways.

Donate in kind
Contribute groceries to our Food Bank. Groceries may be dropped off at the Food Bank beside the Church in business hours and there is also a drop box in the Church parking lot for paper.
Donate clothes, toys, household items and small furniture to our
Thrift Store at 356 Kerr Street. Use the drop box behind the store. We need items in good condition for reuse or sale.
|
 |
Larger items or larger loads may be recycled through the
Oakville Recycling Centre on South Service road W., Oakville.
A note from the church community: Please do not leave anything except paper (in the box) in our carpark. It is costly to us in time and money to move it.
