Volunteer

We need volunteers who can assist us in the following areas:

Help in the kitchen by preparing food, serving food, or cleaning up.
We have a Community Kitchen every Monday where we welcome individuals, groups, or clubs to prepare and serve food to our residents.

Help and monitor our residents while they use the computers.
Help at the Front desk

In October 2005, Evergreen and Groundbreakers of Oakville helped to complete our landscaping, generously provided native trees, scrubs, and wildflowers to be planted on our property to bring more of nature into our community. And also in October, volunteers from Price Waterhouse volunteered their time to come and spend the day planting cedar hedges on the property.

We are grateful to all those who have volunteered their time and efforts to make the Lighthouse a greener and healthier place.
