Pie of the Month:

Each month Master Baker Jason Hampton brings you a new twist on pie. This month he is showcasing his new Poached Pear Pie. This pie is a take on a classic Frend Dessert. Bartlett pears are first lightly poached in a mixture of white wine, water, cinnamon stick, vanilla bean, sugar, lemon zest, lemon juice and ginger. The slightly tendor pears are then sliced and cooled before being put into our very own special lattice pie crust. This pie is only available for the month of October.
