   uDesktop version 7.1 is released today! There are several small fixes including a windows 98 installer fix, window opactity, and the option to set a blank wallpaper. Version 7 is a complete redesign and rewrite, so check it out.

   -uDesktop version 7.0 is finally released! Version 7 is a complete redesign and rewrite, so check it out. You can try the online demo, or download it now. It may be a few weeks before the updated version is listed on download.com and associates. Until then, you can download from this site.

   -The news page has been severely cut back. It used to go waaaay back till 2001. Just prepping the site for the pending release of uDesktop 7.0 today!!!

   -You can take a sneak peak here: Udesktop 7 beta preview. (link removed) Most of the functionality is done, except you can't save anything yet. Saving and backups are next on the list. uDesktop 7.0 will be out before the end of the year for sure.

   -uDesktop 6.0 does not work on Windows XP. Development has finally started on uDesktop 7.0 after several years. I am completely redesigning and rewriting it. It should be great! Stay tuned...
