STUDY TIPS

Time management is a very important concept to get in the habit of doing. 

• determine what takes priority - your school work or hanging out with friends

 
• use a planner to keep track of homework, assignments, tests

 
• prioritize your homework - do the most important things first

 
• set up a regular time slot to study

 
• try working your extra-curricular activities around this time slot

 
• plan ahead - don't leave major tests and assignments to the last second

 
• don't try to do too many things at once (ie. going to school, playing sports, clubs, volunteering, working) 

 
• if you see your marks dropping, try to spend more time studying and get some more sleep during the night
