My own research continues with the study of materials from Don Ta Phet, and I am assembling material for a final publication of the site. I am preparing for a cooperative project in Central Vietnam on the transition from the Sa Huynh Iron Age Culture to the Indianized Cham Civilization. The fieldwork should start early in 1993 and it will be jointly led by myself, Dr. Andreas Reinecke of the German Archaeological Institute, Berlin, and an archaeologist from the Institute of Archaeology, Hanoi.
