Surigao Archaeological Excavation of a burial area with dug-out coffins associated with metal implements, beads and Chinese porcelain.

Butuan Boat Project involving reconstruction of a prehistoric boat.

Magallanes Archaeological Project involving excavation of a burial site with dug-out coffins, crania with artificial cranial deformation, and Ming-Yuan Song ceramic wares.

South Cotabato Archaeological Project focusing on anthropomorphic potteries.

Cagayan de Oro Archaeological Exploration of sites that could be traced back from the Metal Age to the Age of Contact with the Southeast Asian mainland.

Underwater Archaeological Project in Batangas is recovering ceramics from the San Diego ship wreck.

Intramuros Archaeological Project which is an archaeological assessment of historic sites within Intramuros.

The National Museum team leaders for these projects are: Wilfredo Ronquillo (lithic technology), Eusebio Dizon (metal technology), Angel Bautista (zooarchaeology, paleoecology), Elenita Alba (zooarchaeology) and Rey Santiago (prehistoric art, beads).
