Currents: Literary Magazine

CNU's Writer's Syndicate works with Currents: Literary Magazine

Annually, Christopher Newport University publishes a magazine called Currents, filled with the creative written works of CNU's own students. Writer's Syndicate works with the Currents association to find writers to submit their stories and poems for the magazine and to recruit new members to the Writer's Syndicate.

While the Writer's Syndicate is open to non-students, Current only accepts applications from CNU students. All students are welcome to enter, and many members of Writer's Syndicate (including our president, Kayleigh Scott) have had their work published this way.

Submissions for Currents often start at the beginning of the Fall semester and are open until early to mid-March. Currently, submissions are due February 11th for the 2021 - 2022 school year. For more information on Currents and to submit your written works and art to the magazine, you can visit the Currents website. Good luck with your submissions!
