Interior

Before:

Truck_inside-1.jpg (108660 bytes) Here is what it looked like when we got it. Boy was this thing a mess. Note the "cool" rice pedal pads. Those lasted about 14 seconds. My wife ripped out the seat and did a damn fine job of rebuilding it. Cant's even tell except for the occasional flash of duct tape.

Truck_cleaning-1.jpg (141996 bytes) Here it is with the seat out. Lots of rust in floor boards. We had some stainless cut to size and pop riveted to the remaining good metal. This is going to be a working truck so were going for tuff functionality, not show. If you look close you can see where some bozo cut the transmission tunnel to clear the shifter instead of just unbolting it.

Truck_door-1.jpg (65076 bytes) Note the killer 10" hole in the door for a now absent speaker

After:

trk-inside-2.jpg (54430 bytes) All new gauges, door kick plates, door seals, and carpet. Not a bad improvement if I say so myself, and I do. Now at least I can drive around in the thing with out feel too white trash.

trk_cab-02.jpg (102421 bytes) 7/2001 - The ultimate solution to our rusty floorboards. An entire new cab!

trk_cab-04.jpg (70207 bytes) Starting out the "new" cab right. A little Dynamat to keep the noise down and some fresh paint. Putting the new cab on was a real pain in the ass. But with only a few 2x4's the wife and I got it done.
