A WELCOME & INTRODUCTION
Welcome to my Smiffy Site!
It's a bit new at the moment, but there's more to come!

I'm Kacey and I'm a fan of The Bill, the character PC Dale Smith (Smiffy), and Alex Walkinshaw the very talented actor who plays him. I've been watching The Bill for as long as I can remember, and I first noticed Alex when he played DS Small on McCullum, however I didn't catch on then to how lovely he was, I guess I let John Hannah distracted me too much! When I heard some of the UK fans of The Bill saying how lovely Smiffy was when I first came to forum August/September 2000, I thought it was a bit strange!
When Smiffy arrived in 'Taxed' he got my attention
all right but I needed to see more of him, and by the end of Integrity
I was a fan! My fandom was encouraged by foruming with other Smiffy fans.
Smiffy's gets involved in a lot of controversy but I see him for the good
in him (and there's plenty of it) and defending him has given me a better
understanding of that.
By the beginning of November I was a proud
member of the SMIFS (Screaming Mob of Infatuated Fans of Smiffy) so remember:
We're not the only fan club for Smiffy fan's though, there's also the Smiffendales, who were the pinoneers in Smiffy fan clubbing and still do a good job of it, I'd like to thank them for being so understanding about me wanting to do this site as I know they have some webpages and I don't want to intrude on their patch. The Friends of Smiffy is a newer Smiffy fan club and I've heard talk of a website.
In addition to running this foruming, running this website and the Boyden's Jugglers website I like to read and write fan fiction, some of which are feature Smiffy.
