Bud & Clover's Salt Lake Adventure -
WRLF 2006 Salt Lake City, Utah.
Since last year's was so great, Bud & Clover decided to take in the 2006 Western Regional Leaders Forum the first week of March in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Bud and Clover got all gussied up and had a blast at the Fabulous 50s welcome party they attended.
Then it was flash forward a bit to the 70s for some peace, love and flower power.
Some instructors went all out and still had great fun trying to coax students into their classes.
From leather crafting...
to making mailboxes in the model horse class...
hands-on learning by doing is a big part of attending WRLF (not to mention, half the fun!)
It was nice to see youths and adults working together in perfect harmony!

Bud and Clover even took the time to sit in

on how-to-classes in website design and customer service!
Then went sightseeing all around Temple Square.
Hey, when in Rome...!!!
It was great to see old friends like Marla Lowder from Alaska and Cindy Sperry from California.
Cindy won the Breyer horse with the custom-made silver 4-H saddle made by Diane Fisher.
Way to go, Cindy!
Bud & Clover enjoyed yet another family reunion with Glory Be Collectible critters, and Steve Bolt, company owner.
Looking forward, the closing nights theme was focused on the future of 4-H.
The evenings guest speaker was none other than astronaut, Don Lind, who flew on the space shuttle, Challenger, to become part of the first historical Spacelab mission in 1985.
Bud Bear was especially excited to meet a real astronaut and could hardly contain himself!
What a swell guy that Don!
Honestly, I just can't see how 2007 could possibly top this year's event?!!!
