EXHIBITORS:
Six exhibitors competed in 19 classes. They were Jami H., Katy H., Aspen R., Hannah B., Mary B., and Kelsey A.
The spring live show was sponsored by the Salmon Model Horse 4-H Club and judged by Diane Fisher, 4-H Assistant at the Custer County Extension Office.
This was a fantastic �learn by doing� project venue, with plenty of seasoned liveshowers on hand to ask questions & otherwise help out. After each class, the judge discussed award placings with the group and how to improve. The show was more about fun and education than who won the most ribbons. Mini ribbons from 1st to 6th place for each class were given out, with special Champion and Reserve Champ rosettes accompanied by beautiful resin Horse Head busts in each division (thank you Juanita!) were awarded as well as a Judge�s Choice. Everyone was judged on the Danish System for their overall showmanship, sportsmanship and horse knowledge.
