The Abaco Barb Youth Project presents:
A Photo Show Benefit
By Danielle K., age 15
Lebanon, PA
Footnote: A BIG CONGRADULATIONS to Dainelle who recently reported that she was able to raise $155 with her project to turn around and give to the WHOA/Arkwild Inc. group on behalf of the wild Abaco Barb horses. She credits a very generous group of caring model hobbyists & serious horse lovers. We would all like to publicly thank those who supported this project by either entering the photo show or donating to the general fund. Thanks for helping us make a difference!
Abaco Barb Benefit Photo Show
*Equines, Canines, Felines*
Held: November 5, 2005
Judge: Danielle Keller
Results can be downloaded here in Word doc format.
All entry monies collected will go directly to help save the Abaco horses. This is my Abaco Barb Youth Project, and I hope you will help make it a success by entering!
For more info about the Abaco Barb horses, visit Arkwild Inc.
Rules
Entry fee is $3 for an unlimited number of pictures.
My goal is to get at least 10 entries which means $30 toward saving the horses! All money goes to save the Abaco Barb Horses which live on the Abaco Island of the Bahamas. There are only 9 of these horses still living. They are tryng to raise enough money to buy a refuge for the horses and health care. Due to severe hurricanes last year, their habitat has dramatically changed causing some of the animals to get sick. Donations toward saving the horses are welcome!
Along with results, I'll include how much money was raised!

If you are entering separate divisions (equine, canine, feline, and fun) please separate these photos into separate bags. Write the class #'s neatly on the back of each photo in numerical order, along with the animal's name, breed, gender, color, as well as your name, address, and email. Thanks.
