Breyer Fun Day!

Breyer Fun Day 2005
Salmon, Idaho

Kings and the Salmon Model Horse 4-H Club hosted a BREYER FUN DAY on Saturday, October 8th, 2005 in none other than Salmon, Idaho - a small rural community of 3300+ residents nestled in the mountains of Central Idaho.

There were several model-related activities including information on the Abaco Barb Horses, displays by members of the Salmon model horse club, custom-made tack for sale, games, door prizes, raffles, and Stablemate painting.

The special event went relatively well, with ten youth participating in the Stablemate painting and Costume contest against a backdrop store display of breyer models. Additionally, the club ended up gaining a handful of new members.

Refreshments were provided and thoroughly enjoyed by all. As you can see here, concentration was never a problem for anyone, despite the busy commercial setting!

There were also lots and lots of positive comments on the club's store window display, courtesy of club members from the Salmon Model Horse 4-H Club, which pleased everyone immensely.

The three members that helped plan and host the event received special edition TRISTAN models by Breyer.

A limited number of the classic-size sabino drafter models were only available exclusively at the special event, with most getting reserved beforehand.

In addition to kicking off its new year, the Salmon Model Horse 4-H Club also celebrated National 4-H Week which ran in conjunction October 1st 8th.

4-H is a community of young people across America learning leadership, citizenship and life skills. Come join in on the Fun!!!
