Congratulations to Canadian 4-H member, Amanda G. whose recent public speaking speech (shown here on notecards) on the wild horses of Abaco not only won her the Club title, but the chance to advance onto the Area competion! Another win there would advance her onto the District level, and eventually Regionals!
"Good morning madam chairperson, honorary judges, parents, and fellow 4-hers," begins Amanda's speech. "I am here to talk about Capella and the rest of his herd. They are the most endangered breed of horse, with only twelve left...making them the purest strain in existence."
Amanda pictured here at the Model West 2006 liveshow where she won Grand Champion in the Novice division with her favorite jumper, "Landon."
"Amanda is the type of person who takes the time to research all the different type of classes and how to set them up," writes her mother, Rosemarie.
