Congratulations to Idaho native, Alissa H. whose drawing on the plight of the Abaco Barb horses took center stage in a statewide school arts contest called "Reflections," also sponsored by the PTA.
"I won 2nd place out of the entire Lake Ridge Elementary school for my picture of Capella in the visual arts category," said a stunned Alissa. "It was amazing because I've never done that before! The school even announced my name in an assembly."
Way to go, Alissa! Your efforts earn you a special Certificate!
