SMERI acquires a new Qur'an software for children

As the 18th  Tehran International Book Fair (May 4-14, 2005) formally ends on May 14, 2005, SMERI acquires more than ten new software programs. One of these CDs and tapes is the SABA Qur'anic Software.

 

With over 100 hours of learning combined with colorful graphic illustrations and games, the SABA Qur'anic Software CD is one of the most comprehensive Qur'anic learning tools available today.

 

Its salient features include:

 

- 124 Qur'anic lessons and exercises from the Arabic alphabet to proper pronunciation, as well as etiquette including when, where and how best to recite the Holy Book.

 

- Arabic recitation by famous reciters such as Muhammad 'Ayyub and Muhammad Manshawi along with optional side-by-side English translation of the entire Qur'an.

 

- Memorize Surahs with verse replay capability of up to 5 times and up to 99 times for 20 Surahs including step-by-step instructions on effective memorization techniques.

 

- Narrated animations of all prophets ('a) mentioned in the Qur'an including Moses, Noah and Jesus ('a).

 

- Twenty-three (23) more Qur'anic stories including "The Patience of Job", "The Sleepers of the Cave", and more.

 

With this program, you can also:

 

* Learn about colors, plants, numbers, and their precise locations in the Qur'an.

 

* Listen to and watch Qur'anic reciters and Islamic songs (Tawashih).

 

* Test your knowledge with lessons followed by multiple choice and question/answer.

 

* Stimulate your mind with educational puzzles, memory games, and painting exercises.
