Finally, little Goku is all grown up, and this series follows through from his first son Gohan, to the Buu Saga with little Goten and Trunks. This is definetly the longest cartoon series of all 3.

Ladies and Gentlemen... the first Series that started it all... the one, the only, DragonBall! Created by Akira Toriyama, this series follows Goku as a child, his training, and the World Martial Arts Tournaments. Most of the characters from DragonBall Z are introduced during DragonBall. Some of the problems that came up for Goku and his friends include Emperor Pilaf and the Red Ribbon Army. This series is by far the cutest and the most comical and uplifting of the Dragonball series. |

This series takes place 10 years after the end of DBZ. Goku (at left, middle) is turned into a little kid again by an old and wrinkly Emperor Pilaf (very funny), because of the black star dragon balls. The whole gang is trying to find them before a year is up, or else the Earth will blow up. In addition, this time, they are scattered all over the galaxy. Also, another destroy-the-universe kind of monster has been created.
Anyway, Gohan has a daugter named Pan. That's right, a part saiyan girl! She has inhereted all the superpowers... such as Supersaiyan... but lets not get ahead of ourselves just yet.
This show bugs me a little bit - the characters are tad bit too strong, and a little too shiny - and I think DB and DBZ are much better, BUT DragonBall GT is the end of the whole story, so don't miss it! |
