Slice bananas horizantally, place the slices on a greased cookie sheet. Sprinkle the bananas with brown sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg. Broil until the sugar is bubbly.

This one is so versatile that you could eat it any time of the day!
In a bowl place any fresh fruit of your choice. Next, place a couple of heaping tbs. of your favorite low-fat yogurt.  Top with a low fat or all natural granola. Voila ! Instant snack, dessert or breakfast!!!
Note that fruit flavored yogurt contains a lot of sugar! If you want to lessen the amount of sugar, buy low-fat plain yogurt and add your own pureed fruit.

Dried fruit is also a good alternative to potato chips and ice cream for a snack. It is higher in sugar then  fresh fruit.
Make your own snack mix by combining your favorite dried fruit and your favorite raw unsalted nuts. You will be better off snacking on this then chips and icecream.

Get in the habit of buying a variety of fruit. Make a fruit salad and keep it in the refrigerator. Whenever you feel hungry you will have it on hand. Just as easy as pulling out that bag of chips or that tempting candy bar.
Remember to add 1/4 cup per 3 cups of fruit salad. This will prevent your fruit from turning brown permaturely.
Try not to make more then you will eat in 2 days. Even with the addition of the lemon juice, it will not taste that good on day 3.
