2005 Meteor Shower
In the 1989 Meteor Shower Kal-El/Clark/Superman arrived on Earth in the first spaceship as a toddler. Sixteen years later, the 2005 Meteor Shower rained destruction on the town of Smallville once again bringing Kryptonite along with it. In this meteor shower a black spaceship crashed in the middle of a field. Lana was the first to see the ship. Out of this ship came the two thugs, Nam-Ek and Aethyr, who worked for Zod. Later we discover that those 2 Kryptonians were not alone, Brainiac/Professor Milton Fine came to Earth in the black spaceship as well. In the end of Episode 5.1, Braniac came out of the ship in a liquid form--kind of like liquid metal. The landing of the ship started a series of events (the release of a super-virus, the opening of the Phantom Zone, etc) that would spell the end of the world as we know it unless Clark can stop it.
