Only the WIRTGEN Surface Miner allowed this simple and effective operation, consisting of the WIRTGEN Surface Miner, Three fronend-loaders and the screening unit only.

 

Material is sized during cutting directly.

 

To save costs a French construction company decided to produce its gravel material from its own quarries near by the construction sites. Simple mining and processing as well as little mine planning were basic requirements of this company for this task. So they decided to purchase a WIRTGEN Surface Miner.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The WIRTGEN Surface Miner cuts and crushes the material. Different cutting tool and cutting drum options allow production of material gradation true to the customers requirements.

The cut material is windrowed benide the machine. Front-end-loaders pick up the material and feed it into a hopper of a screening unit, located directly beside the mine mouth.

on the clean, even and stable milled surface the front-end-loaders can operate with optimum travel speed.
