| Synopsis: |
Ten-year-old orphan Harry Potter has spent
most of his short life living under the stairs of the house of the Dursleys, his aunt and
uncle who generally dislike him. However, on his eleventh birthday Harry's mystical past
is revealed to him once he learns of his acceptance into the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft
and Wizardry, a 1,000 year old institution located in a secret, magical realm. Once there,
Harry's true destiny is revealed to him as he learns to negotiate his way between two
worlds - one ruled by ordinary humans, the other by magic and fantasy. |
