Well, by now you readers should know that Harry Potter is my favourite book. For those who have not read the Harry Potter books, here's a short summary written by me of the story within it. More summaries will be coming soon when the information or previews are released for me to post here.

Harry Potter and the Sorceror's Stone |
Also known as 'Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone' in some editions. Tells the beginning of Harry's adventure as a wizard. He lives with the Dursleys family and is not treated well. Then came along Hagrid who told him about his bewitching abilities and helped him to Hogwarts.There he was sorted into the Gryffindor house by the Sorting Hat. He also made friends with Ron and Hermioe and rivalled Draco. They learnt of the Sorceror's Stone hidden in the castle and that someone's trying to steal it. Together they stopped the unsuspected Voldermort from stealing it and reviving himself.

Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets |
On Harry's second year at Hogwarts, the everyone found out that he could speak Parseltongue. It was said that only the true heir of the Slytherin, who could speak Parseltongue, could open the Chamber of Secrets. There the legendary Basilisk was kept by Salazar Slytherin, the founder of Slytherin. With the help of a ghost which haunted a toilet, he found the chamber and slayed the Basilisk with the sword from Godric Gryffindor.

(This is my favourite book) Harry learnt that Sirius Black was his Godfather. This year he overheard about his parents' death and thought that Sirius was the betrayer. After winning the Quidditch Cup for Gryffindor and learning the Petronus Charm from Lupin, he located Sirius. He learnt that Sirius was innocent. Lupin and Sirius were trying to kill the real betrayer. But then the betrayer escaped. Ron's rat happened to be the betrayer, named Peter Petigrew. But when the betrayer escaped, Sirius couldn't prove himself innocent and lived as a fugitive. Harry and Hermione save Sirius from the Dementors by reversing time and freeing Buckbeak, a Hippogriff, which saved Sirius.

Being the thickest Harry Potter book, it's yet the most exciting book. On this year the Quidditch was cancelled and replaced by the Triwizard Tournament. It has not been held for centuries because of its danger. Harry was surprising chosen with Cedric Diggory to represent Hogwarts. Challengers from other Wizardry Institutes also competed against him. After making it through a maze, he drew in the Tournament with Cedric. They were then transported to Voldermort by a portkey, which was the Triwizard Cup. Unfortunately, Voldermort murdered Cedric and left Harry helpless by disarming his protection barrier which held Voldermort back. If you want to know the very exciting ending, you have to read the rest yourself!
