Chapter 5~Mysterious Aura

The next day Hitomi went to school. She was still thinking about the vision. Usually when one came she'll definelty know that danger may be aproaching, but one thing strange about the vision she had yesterday was that it showed of difficulty but no apparent danger. At least not the kind that shows blood and corpse. I was weird, she didn't know how to explain the feeling even to herself. It was new, queer, and a little funny....

Hitomi met Yukari at school, the two best friends greeted each other but there were untold things between them. Yukari then said, "Hitomi, I never knew you were so great in drawing! You should  signed up for the upcoming contest on art. It will be cool! I bet you will win!" Ever since Hitomi came back from Ghea Yukari have been encouraging her to enter contests or clubs, she wished for Hitomi to have a great socail life. Actually Hitomi's queerness after coming back from Ghea were now rumors, some were even nasty ones too. Being Hitomi's best friend was very hard now, for she was very unpredictable and at times will day dream or whisper to herself. Yukari didn't know what were these breakdowns suppose to mean, she wanted a fun friend. Hitomi was one but now all she had was a far away look, she will even sometimes giggle in class for no apparent reason. She will sit on the track and gaze into the sky and say "VAN". Those words echoed in Yukari's mind all the time, "VAN" who was he?

"No, its okay Yukari, I don't want to, my sketch isn't that good...by the way my drawings are only for me...they are more like portraits...to remember upon...." Now Hitomi was going into her far-away-look again and Yukari watched on, vexed. "Hitomi, it bet Huzuko is talking about you to the other guys, you really gave him something to talk about, well, at least to the other boys..." Yukari trailed off, Huzuko walked up to Hitomi who was still having that far-away-dreamy-look, "Hey! Wassp? Are you feeling better?" Huzuko asked with a cute grin on his face. The world stopped suddenly, everyone in the hall way stopped in their steps and all heads were turned towards Hitomi. Yukari looked at Hitomi expecting words to come out of her mouth. Instead, Hitomi was still in her far-away-dreamy-look thingy, Yukari nudged Hitomi...it was no use...she was dreaming....

'Hitomi....'  'Van....I thought it over, the vision, you are to ask Allen to come for he will be of some help right? Well more or less. I am not sure is the Noovi royal family coming, that you've got to check yourself.....' 'Hitomi, why can't you come....' 'Van...you asked me this last night, thats just the way things are...anyway at least we can still talk right? I'm sure everything will be fine'  'Hitomi, you will always be mine right? No matter what happens?' 'Now what is this suppose to mean? Is this some kind of test? I will certainly not answer such a silly question. Also there is something about this vision that I just cannot explain...it is not dangerous but it is difficult, there will be difficulty that you will and must over come. That is all, I guess, I still don't truely understand the vision..I will just ponder on it more...its just so weird. Well I've gatta go...so see you...' 'Bye Hitomi....Ah! Now I've got to look forward to a stupid days of work.' 'At least you don't need to go to school..'

Huzuko looked at Hitomi curiosly, a smile was spreading over her face, but she seemed to not notice him standing in front of her. 'Her eyes, they are so beautiful! I just realized them! Yesterday they seemed so vancant and lonely...now they are so filled with warmth and love...what a weird girl..she must be happy for some special reason.' Thought Huzuko, he suddenly realized the girls beauty...he understood, she looked so strong, mean, cold, lonely on the outside, but really she had a warm and loveing side in her. He was quite striken by her beauty which lasted only a moment.

The cold eyes were back. "What are you looking at me for?" Hitomi asked Huzuko. Everyone started to speak at once, they were so surprised by Hitomi's reaction! Huzuko was one of the most popular boys in school in competition with Kento. They both had lackeys, but the difference between Kento and Huzuko was that: Kento had a cold nature, he dumped girls constantly and was mean to other students whom he thought were stupid or those that have offended him. On the other hand Huzuko was nice and cool...He was not like Kento, girls would just die if he'd say "HI" to them.

Now the world started to move again. Everyone was whispering and looking on at Hitomi with disbelief. One girl said, "Goodness! Huzuko just said Hi to her, is that all she is going to say to him? My gosh she really is crazy! I'll give anything for Huzuko-sempi to greet me that way!"

"I was just wondering how were you feeling after your breakdown." Huzuko replied, he was sort of surprised by her reaction towards him. He expected a smile and greet. 'This girl must be playing hard to get with me! Well I will let her have it! I will go after her and see how she likes it...' Huzuko thought. "I'm feeling fine, thank you for worrying, but I have others to do that job for me already, you didn't need to go through with that trouble." Hitomi said rudely. She was very annoyed with Huzuko who was using that stupid boy charms of his. He immediantly reminded her of Allen, the Heavenly Knight, by thinking of Allen, Hitomi was greatful. If it wasn't for Allen, Hitomi would never realize her love for Van....Van....

'Her smile is back! Wow! She does look beautiful with that smile...if only I can see it more often..' Huzuko thought with a sense of longingness. Hitomi smiled, Huzuko reminded her of Allen... "What are you smiling at Hitomi?" Yukari asked, surprised by her friends sudden change of mood. "Huzuko, you remind me of a friend, a good friend that made me realize my true destiny..." Hitomi said, she was smiling now. It just felt so wonderful to think of friends on Ghea...Ghea.....

"Well, I'm flattered. A friend, is it a boy or a girl?" Huzuko inquired. "His name is ALLEN. Well I've got to get to class, I guess you must too. One day if I have the chance I will introduce Allen to you alright?" Hitomi was now smiling, she even giggled a little, memories of being with Allen and Van just started to intrude her brain which made her giggle. Hitomi walked off with Yukari to her class. In the crowd that was watching the sence a girl grinned evily. 'I will get that rascale, stupid Hitomi, trying to play hard-to-get with Huzuko! I will get her for this. Huzuko should have known better than to pick her over me, but then I guess her mysterious aura just pulled him to her. Wait and see Hitomi Kanzaki..I will get you for this..'
