Chapter 1~ The New Beginning

"Hitomi, wake up!" it was Mrs. Kanzaki calling

"okay mom! i'm up." Hitomi repied

It was a two weeks after Hitomi came back from Ghea, she went back to her daily routine after the great adventure. Everything had changed, a part of her was still in Ghea still with him. Oh! how Hitomi ached everytime the thought of him came to her mind. 'Van I wonder how are you today?' Hitomi whisperes silently to herself. She got dressed and went over to her drawer. She opened the drawer and took out a little wooden box.

She opened the wooden box to reveal a beautiful white feather. Just looking at it you'll know its really special.Hitomi picked up the feather and felt the smoothness, 'Van how are you? how is everything?' she thought

'Hitomi, stop worrying. I'm fine.'  The young Fanalian king smiled to himself. He now stood at his balcony gazing up into the moonlight sky starring at the Mystic Moon. It was midnight but he couldn't sleep at all so he decided to take a little stroll on his balcony. 'Hitomi I miss you so much,' he thought communicating with her through their minds.

'You better get back to bed or you'll be really tired tomorrow Van.'

"Yes, yes Hitomi, whatever you say. It just so lonely around here without you. I guess i'll talk to you later Hitomi." Van whipered to himself.

Hitomi smiled, Van the love of her life, oh if only they could be together, then everything will be perfect. Just the two of them....together in their own world....with only love.......oh Van....

Hitomi jumped down the stairs and ran into the kitchen. She had been talking to Van too long now she'll have to race her way to school. "Hitomi what took you so long?" Mrs.Kanzaki scolded. Hitomi grabbed her breakfast of toast and jammed it into her mouth. "Thanks mom, gatta go." with that Hitomi banged the door with out realizing and raced her way to school.

"Oh! That girl, whats gotten into her gosh!" Mrs.Kanzaki shook her head worriedly.

"Hey Hitomi!" Yukari shouted. "Oh! Hey Yukari, how is things going on with you and Amano?" Hitomi asked "oh, everthing is great. You aren't angry at me for being Amano's girlfriend right?" Yuakri eyed Hitomi guiltily. "For the hundreth time Yukari, I'm not angry or mad at you. I say you deserve him and you love him so you two shall be together." Hitomi laughed at her best friend for asking her that question so many times.

"Comeon we've got to hurry up or we'll be late for class!" Hitomi said

"Van are you okay?" Merel asked the young king that was dozing at the breakfast table."VAN!!!" Van jerked right up, "What happened?!! What's going on?" The young king hurriedly placed his right hand to the hilt of his sword. "Van everything is okay except you. Did you get any rest last night? You've been dozing, you've better eat your breakfast, you still got a lot of proposal marrige letters to refuse." Merel giggled. She knew how much Van hated those letters. "But I just finished all those yesterday so I can relax today!" Van cried. "Sorry to break it to you Van-sama but a big pile just arrived this morning. I even saw one that was from Noovi, I bet the crown princess Sarala has proposed. I've heard that she is really pretty too!" Merel said with a smiling-very-annoying-looking face.

"Shutup Merel! You know how much I hate this topic!" Van snapped and walked out of the dinning room.

Van flopped down on a chair in his study and eyed his desk with great dislike. He had to do this, he is a king. 'Okay I can do it, I can do it......' he sat down in front of his desk. "I can do it..I can to it....No I can't do it! Too many! I can't stand it anymore...... Hitomi help me!!!" Van screamed in his mind.

In a class room a gril giggled to herself, 'Van you've just gatta be strong.' she smiled to herself while she imagined the 15 year old king looking at a desk full of marrige proposals. 'Van sorry I can't help you, this you've just got to handle it yourself.' she smiled in the thought of her beloved. 'I'll always love you no matter what happens.'

'Thanks Hitomi, that totally didn't help me. Well guess I'll just start fighting the monsters.' The young king started to go through all the letters, ripping them open and reading them in disgust. Soon the whole floor was full of riped open letters. "Your Majesty?" an advisor knocked. "Come in" said Van with his head resting on the table. "What...happened? Your Majesty?" "What DOES it look like I'm doing??!!" "Now! What do you want." 'Oh! How I hate this life of mine!!' Van screamed in his heart.
