Warnings and Precautions

To ensure your safety, please read all the precautions printed on the package/inserts

that are provided with your fiberglassing materials.

Here is the warning label provided on the insert of my materials:

From personal experience with fiberglassing, I will also give a few precautions too.

1: Fiberglass in a well ventilated area

2: When fiberglassing, wear clothes that will cover any skin that could possibly be touched by the fiberglass resin. If you let the resin stay on your skin for more than 5-10 minutes, you WILL get a burning sensation. So, again, protective clothing at all times

3: Get a face mask that is approved to keep out any dangerous vapors and fiberglass dust (you will get dust once you start to sand).
