Creating Forms, Molds, and Shapes
If you are doing a custom enclosure, you more than likely want to have a flowing shape, or in some rare instance, a skull face showing through. All of this is possible, but may take more time depending on what you want or need. Again, the things described below are more for custom enclosures, but may be used to create a stock looking appearance in your vehicle.
Now, to create a bubble type shape, underneath all the fiberglass, you may want to put a round shape, such as a ball. This will cause the shape to stick up with round/bubble type shape.
To create a more square shape, you may want to put cut pieces of wood or some other square shape underneath the fiberglass. Once you lay the fiberglass, it will form around the square piece, creating the square shape desired.
