It is very difficult to take this skin care line seriously because the website looks like it was made by a high school student in computer science class. All of the product pictures look as if they were taken with a household digital camera in a poorly lit room and then cropped. The bottles themselves are very plain with some of them not even displaying the name of the company, which strongly suggests they may just be buying bulk formulas from another company then injecting them into some generic packaging for retail. While judgement should be reserved for the formulations themselves (as the true worth of a line is ultimately based on the ingredients used), the very amateurish website design really is hard to get past since it looks like something packaged and sold out of someone�s garage (which it may very well be). It seems likely that this line is even still around because it has �www.cosmetics.com� as the website and probably gets the majority of it�s traffic from just buying into the .com bandwagon early and securing such a popular name.
Possibly even more surprising is the price these formulas are retailing at given the shoddy packaging and site design. While the active ingredients used in these formulas do seem above average (though negatively impacted by the use of paraben preservatives) it�s still quite surprising that they charge $65 for a one ounce bottle for of some of their products with the presentation so lacking. Only a handful of people have reviewed this line and of them none experienced significant anti-aging results with any of the products tried except for one reviewer that had moderate results with the Botanical Bio-Peptide Concentrate.
