Sentential Odyssey

“Every country has its own Odyssey,
even Norway has one”
B.G. and K.B.

Embracing Penelope Odyssey
cries out:
“A compound sentence is a syntactic
unit made up of two predicates
and that means two sentences
connected by the meaning they bear.”
She makes a step back.
Looks at him in silence.
Together with her
Punctuation is silent too.

The Old and the New Stone in Ephesus

Your streets are crowded
yet silence is heard
it’s the stone that keeps silent
the same old stone from ancient times
built in the amphitheaters
impressed in the alleys
shaped in the pillars
and the new one brought
for reconstruction
tries to imitate

so it also keeps silent
endures
in an attempt
to astonish.
