Sisters Need A Place

Volunteers

SNAP is seeking Muslims Volunteers.

If you want to help SNAP but just can't imagine you have any skills suitable to help, think again!

Your volunteer work may be simply purchasing groceries for a housebound Muslim that SNAP is working with;

or perhaps driving a fellow Muslim in your car to an appointment;

or translating for a needy Muslim.

There are hundreds of creative ways you can help, even if you have a busy schedule.

Sadaqa is a voluntary charity which may be made at any time. It can be of any amount "beyond your needs." It need not be money. Giving a smile to someone who needs it is also sadaqa.

Become a Volunteer:

If you are a professional, you too can help! Consider the knowledge you have, that you take for granted every day or the people you meet through out your busy professional life. Someone you may know may be the person SNAP is needing to find to help us in our work. So consider volunteering even as a networking contact. Let the knowledge you have help others in ways you may never have thought possible!

To Learn more how you can volunteer contact: Sister Fakiha Ali at 651-341-6486 or contact the executive director, Sister Clareen Menzies of SNAP at: 612-237-9167.
