How to get to Glamorgan University by train

At Cardiff Central, head for platforms 6 and 7. If you're at Queen Street station, platform 1. Trains are frequent, about every 20 mins. You need a train with any of the following destinations: Aberdare, Merthyr Tydfil, Pontypridd or Treherbert. All these stop at Treforest (Trefforest in Welsh). A few also stop at the tiny industrial halt just before it, Treforest Estate. Don't get off there! You can't mistake Treforest station proper; apart from anything else, as you come in you'll see on the left-hand platform a large sign saying "Alight here for the University of Glamorgan". You'll also have seen on the left a number of our buildings, just before the station.
When you get off, you'll be on the correct side of the bridge. Just leave the platform by the only exit, turn left and walk straight ahead. You pass a mini-roundabout, with 3 ways off from it. Turn up the right-hand road, Brook Street. Soon you'll see on the left a gate leading into the uni grounds; if you come in there you should then find F Block (Forest Hall) just to your right. The CW staff all live there now - Philip in room 101, Chris in room 103, Sheenagh 104, Rob 110, Tony 125.

Or you can go on past Brook Street to the uni's main entrance in B Block, up the stairs and to your left, and you'll find the canteen. This is probably what the weather'll be like...
