This is the first episode of Futurama. It all starts when Fry, a pizza delivery boy has to deliver a pizza to a cryo-genetics lab on December 31st 1999. He delivers the pizza only to find out it was just a prank so he sits back and relaxes. Right before the clock struck mid-night, he fell out of his chair and into a freezing tube. He was frozen and thawed out on December 31st 2999. He meets Leela , a one eyed alien that works at the genetics lab assigning careers to people and installing their career chips. She does some tests on Fry, and tells him he has one living relative left in the world, Professor Hubert Farnsworth . When Fry finds out his permenant career is to be a delivery boy, he runs away. He soon meets Bender , a robot designed to bend gerders that hates his job as much as Fry hates his and actually attempted killing himself in a suicide booth, but Fry talked him out of it. They run away from Leela, and attempt to contact Professor Farnsworth. Eventually Leela catches up to them, but had a change of heart and decided to quit her job instead of forcing Fry to do his. They all headed to Farnsworth's only to find the police hot on their trails. The four manage to escape and Farnsworth asks Bender, Fry, and Leela to become his new delivery crew. They accept and Fry has to be a delivery boy after all, but doesn't mind at that point. 
Leonard Nemoy guest stars as himself...as a head.
