Profile: Bender was born in 2996 in Mom's Friendly Robot Company. After graduating Bending School, Bender went on to get a job bending girders. After finding out that the girders were only being used for suicide booths, he decided to kill himself. In a line waiting to be killed by a suicide booth, he met Fry who was on the run from Leela who was trying to install his career chip. Fry managed to talk Bender out of killing himself and they became fast friends. When Leela finally caught up with them and decided to quit her job, they all went to Professor Farnsworth's where they were employed to work at the Professor's company, Planet Express. Since, Bender has made friends with other characters such as Amy, Dr. Zoidberg, Scruffy, and Hermes. He also still sees some old friends as well such as Fender, a robot that is currently on tour with the Beastie Boys, and Roberto, a robot that is on the run from law. He is also known to keep the head of Lucy Liu in the body cavity in his chest. Spare Time: In his spare time, Bender loves to steal things whenever possible. He also enjoys gambling (especially illegal gambling), cooking, bending things, and dating. He's willing to date computers, machines, and fembots (female robots). Love Life: Bender always likes to have his mistresses here and there, but he has had some major relationships over time as well. His first serious relationship took place when the Planet Express crew took a cruise on the Titanic. He met the Countess Telaroka, who liked to live in first class. To impress her, Bender tried to make her believe that he was a first class guy as well, but his plan backfired. Still, the Countess said that she liked Bender for Bender and not for how much money he had. Sadly in the end, the Countess was sucked into a black hole and was never seen again. In another episode, Bender started having uncontrollable urges to bend things so he was sent to work in a bending factory. There he met the infamous Flexo again along with a sexy new fembot, Angeline. Bender and Angeline hit it off, but Angeline was still getting over her previous marriage to Flexo so it kind of downed the relationship. Bender came up with a plan to disguise himself as Flexo and take Angeline out for a night to see if she still has feelings for Flexo. The plan succeeds and Bender finds that Angeline does still like Flexo until Bender's cover is blown. Then Angeline says that it was Bender acting like Flexo that seduced her so she really does love Bender. Bender was confused and angered so he went back to the bending factory to kill Flexo. The Robot Mafia then payed Flexo a trip and dropped a giant block on him crushing his legs. Then in the end, Angeline decided to go with Flexo. When Fry started dating a Lucy Liu-bot, it prompted the gang to go down to the website nappster.com's headquarters to shut them down. There they find that they were keeping celebrities prisoner and were letting people download their personalities off the Internet. Leela, Bender, and Dr. Zoidberg managed to save the head of Lucy Liu and while they were trying to run off to tell police about Nappster, Bender and Lucy Liu hit it off. Bender currently keeps her in his body cavity in his chest. The most recent relationship he had was with the Planet Express ship when it got a personality upgrade. Things were going great until Bender got sick of the ship and started cheating on it. When Bender 'officially' broke up with the ship, it went nuts and nearly killed the whole crew, but thanks to some quick thinking, the ship's personality was disabled and was never to bother the crew again. Since, Bender hasn't been romantically involved with anyone...with the exception of his hookers. Note: Under Bender's Age as of 3002, it says his body is 6 years old and his head is 1,061 Years Old because in the episode Roswell That Ends Well, Bender's head was left behind and then recovered in the year 3002. If you do the math, 1947 and 3002 are 1,055 years apart. Then if you add that Bender's head was already 6 years old when it got left behind, you get the number 1,061.
