Part I:
As Sonic runs through the rain he discovers a frog trapped under a tree.
He frees the frog, which happens to be a magical
frog. The frog gives Sonic three stones: a green stone for strength,
a red stone for elasticity, and a yellow stone for leaping great distances.
Each stone will be effective for a few minutes. Sonic doesn't believe the
frog and as he rushes back to Knothole. He decides to give the stones to
Tails and tell him that they're good luck stones.
Days later, Rotor tests out a land rover with the freedom fighters.
Robotnik discovers them and uses his beetle 'bot to destroy the land rover.
The robot picks up a large stone and prepares to throw it on the freedom
fighters. Sonic picks up the magic stones, but he doesn't know which
one to use for super strength.
Part II:
Sonic grabs the red stone and becomes a blue splat. He crawls
from under the rock, realizing that the red stone was for elasticity.
Robotnik is furious and uses the beetle 'bot to capture all of the freedom
fighters. Sonic looks at the two stones that are left and tries to
remember which one is the one for strength. He chooses the yellow one
and then charges for the robot. Sonic jumps down on the ground, only
to be sent up into the air. Now he realizes that the green stone is
for strength. Robotnik prepares to fly back to Robotropolis, and Sonic
figures out how to stop the robot. He slices a slab of a rock and
uses a dead tree trunk to create a fly swatter. Sonic picks up the
fly swatter and uses it to crush the robot. The beetle 'bot loses altitude,
and Sonic uses his strength to keep the robot from hitting the ground.
Sonic realizes that since the stones worked, the frog really was magical.
He soon goes to a pond of frogs, asking each one for more magical stones.

Rotor has been locked away in his lab, and the freedom fighters begin
to recall his failed inventions. They then start thinking about what
he could be inventing. Eventually Rotor comes out, revealing his new
invention: the Thermos™. It keeps hot
things hot and cold things cold. Sonic and Sally are upset and think
that it's not a good idea. Tails says that it will fit in his lunchbox
(which has a picture of Sonic on it).

Robotnik decides to use Bunnie as a way to destroy the freedom fighters.
Meanwhile, the freedom fighters are having a barbecue. Rotor is making
Barbecued Mobian Mush. Bunnie brings him a ladle, which flies out
of her hand, along with every thing else that is metal. She soon finds
herself flying in the same direction. Sonic finds the source of the
problem: Robotnik's newest invention called Magnabot. As Bunnie
clings to a tree, Sonic comes up with a plan. He grabs a trash can
lid and runs out of the magnetic field. The Magnabot eventually turns
toward Sonic, and the metal from Robotropolis come rushing to the robot.
Sonic and Bunnie go back to Knothole, where Rotor coats her with a solution
that will prevent her from being attracted to magnets.
