Silverhawk Insignia
The Silverhawk insignia is given to new Initiates within the Order. While wearing this pin, you feel refreshed and vigilant.
Lore: This pin marks its wearer as a member of the Order of the Silverhawk. (Knowledge [local] DC 20)
Description: A small silver pin in the shape of a two-headed hawk with wings spread, with sapphires for eyes.
Activation: A Silverhawk insignia functions whenever it�s worn. It must be worn for a full week before it begins to work. After that, the pin attunes itself to the wearer, and need not have to wait another week to gain the benefits.
Effect: The Silverhawk insignia acts as a ring of sustenance, continually providing its wearer with sustaining nourishment. It refreshes the body and mind, so that its wearer needs only sleep 2 hours per day to gain the benefit of 8 hours of sleep.
Weapons of the Silverhawk
These weapons are issued to members of the Order of the Silverhawk who have shown great dedication to their cause. There are different types of weapons: bows, one-handed melee weapons, and two-handed melee weapons. Each type offers various bonuses to offense and defense.
Bow of the Silverhawk
These intricate bows are usually given to the Silverhawk Rangers in their offensive campaign of rooting out the evils of their forest. They can be any type of bow.
Lore: The distinctive shield with a hawk design that protects the wielder�s hand marks the wielder as a Silverhawk Guardian. (Knowledge [local] DC 20)
Description: These bows have a small buckler-sized shield attached that protects the hand of the wielder. The shield has an intricate design of a hawk in flight. The arms are inlaid with silver in the designs of a hawk�s wings. When being drawn, the lines of silver on the arms and on the shield glow a light blue in color.
Prerequisite: The magic of a Bow of the Silverhawk goes dormant if wielded by anyone not in the Order, rendering it merely a masterwork bow of its type.
Activation: The bow�s enhancement and shield bonus function whenever the bow is wielded.
Effect: A Bow of the Silverhawk adjusts its pull automatically to match its wielder (allowing her to add her full Strength bonus to damage with each arrow fired). It also provides a +1 shield bonus to Armor Class.
Aura/Caster Level: Faint transmutation; CL 7th.
Construction: Craft Magic Arms and Armor, shield, 2,000 gp, 160 XP, 4 days.
Weight: Varies, depending on the type of bow, adding 5 lbs to the weight for the buckler.
Price: 4,000 gp plus the cost of a masterwork bow.
