This bear looks like a small but ferocious grizzly bear. It's eyes seem to glow an icy blue.

Description
Iceclaw bears are a unique type of bear that is only found in the valleys of Dun Morogh. Their fur tends to range from pure white to a soft whitish-brown. Iceclaw bears tend to be bad-tempered and territorial. The average iceclaw bear is about 5 feet long, but can reach sizes up to 9 feet in lengh.

Combat
Iceclaw bears rip prey with their claws and teeth. Sometimes, they use their namesake, the dreaded ice claw.
  Ice Claw (Su): Upon a successful critical hit, the iceclaw bear's claw deals 1d4 points of cold damage. The attack also temporarily reduces the target's Agility by 2 for 1d4 rounds (DC 16 Fortitude half).
  Skills: *Iceclaw bears with white fur have a +8 racial bonus on Hide checks in snowy areas. Iceclaw bears with whitish-brown fur have a +8 racial bonus on Hide checks in snowy forest areas.

This hawk, its feathers soft and silvery in color, has blue glowing eyes that hint of intelligence. A crest of feathers sprout from head and down its neck, and it has two longer trailing feathers on either side of it's tail.

Description
Silverhawks are a rare bird originating in the Emerald Dream. They have a strange bond with Silverhawk Rangers and Knights, and tend to serve them loyally.

Combat
Silverhawks combine both talons into a single attack.
  Smite Evil (Su): Once per day, a silverhawk can make a normal melee attack to deal extra damage equal to its HD against an evil foe.
  Skills: Silverhawks have a +8 racial bonus on Spot checks.

This large bird resembles a tallstrider, though its plumage is both larger and more vibrant. It has a thin, curved beak and burning orange eyes.

Description
Hawkstriders are large animals that resemble other members of the tallstrider family, though their plumage is both larger and more vibrant. They come in a variety of bright colors and have a thin, curved beak and burning orange eyes. Natural runners, few creatures can sprint as fast as a hawkstrider without the aid of magic.
These birds are the preferred land mount of the Blood Elves.

Combat
Hawkstriders are usually either shy or friendly, and thus don't often engage in combat. Most potentioal predators leave them alone in favor of slower prey. However, when a hawkstrider's young or those its become attached to are in danger, it makes effective use of its sharp beak and powerful talons.
  Skills: Silverhawks have a +8 racial bonus on Spot checks.

Hawkstrider Mounts
Hawkstriders are tamed by the Blood Elves of Silvermoon as faithful mounts. This training requires a successful Handle Animal check (DC 21 for a young creature, DC 27 for an adult) and that the hawkstrider is willing to be trained. The training takes approximately 1 year. Riding one requires an exotic saddle.
  Carrying Capacity: A light load for a hawkstrider is up to 300 pounds; a medium load, 301-600 pounds; and a heavy load, 601-900 pounds. A hawkstrider can drag 3,000 pounds. Hawkstriders cost 400gp.
