These affiliations are created using guidelines from the Dungeons and
Dragons Player's Handbook II from Wizards of the Coast. In my opinion,
they are the closest thing to 'Reputation' from the MMO.
Winterfury Clan | Silverhawk Order
| Shadow Wolf Clan
Winterfury Clan
Symbol: A white warhammer with a snowflake on either
side on a midnight blue background.
Background, Goals, and Dreams: The Winterfury Clan of
Hill Dwarves live in the snowy valleys of the Alterac Mountains.
Before then, they lived in Grim Batol with the majority of the Hill
Dwarves, but had to escape when the Dark Iron army led by Modgud attacked.
Originally they numbered only a hundred members or so. Over time, however,
their members either married into the other clans, or were slain in various
conflicts. The majority of the Winterfury Clan fought against the Horde
during the Second War, when the orcs invaded the Alterac Mountains. It was
then that their leader, Thane Thordin Winterfury, was slain. The leadership
of the clan then went to the eldest of his daughters, Freyah Winterfury, who
was an accomplished shaman. Freyah, concerned about her sisters safety,
sent them by gryphons to Dun Morogh. Dun Morogh had been relatively
untouched by the Horde, and Freyah felt her sisters could live without
worry under the protection of Ironforge.
Today, very few members of the Winterfury Clan exist. Only one village
belonging to the clan is left, and it is led by Freyah Winterfury. Her
sisters, Skadii and Syf, have set out on their own as of late. Skadii
has become an accomplished hunter, while Syf has taken to the paladin
order of Ironforge. The clan, proud and strong, struggle to survive in
the harsh climate yet refuse any help from their Wildhammer or Ironforge
bretheren.
Members: Freyah Winterfury (Wildhammer Dwarf
3/Winterfury Shaman 13) - Freyah acts as the clan's leader. She is wise, yet
strong like her father was. She has no husband or children. If she were
to perish, the clan's leadership would fall upon Skadii.
Skadii Winterfury (Wildhammer Dwarf 1/Scout 10/
Beastmaster 3*) - Skadii prefers to travel the wilds of Azeroth with
her iceclaw bear companion, Heimdall. She knows she is next in line to lead
her clan, but tries not to think about it.
Syf Winterfury (Wildhammer Dwarf 1/Paladin 7)
- The youngest of the three sisters, Syf adopted Ironforge as her
home, although her sisters still consider her a true Winterfury.
Odynn Mighthammer (Wildhammer Dwarf 3/Warrior
15) - Odynn was the former Thane's right hand dwarf and advisor.
When Thordin was slain and Freyah inherited the leadership of the clan,
Odynn dutifully kept his position as military advisor.
Enemies and Allies: The Winterfury Clan considers the Wildhammer
and Ironforge clans their friends. They share a friendly relationship with
the high elves of Quel'thalas, but tend to be wary of humans and gnomes.
The night elves to them seem too haughty, although they share many
similarities in culture. As for the draenei, the Winterfury aren't too sure
what to make of them, although they respect the bond with nature the shaman
seem to show.
As for enemies, the Dark Iron dwarves and orcs of the Blackrock and Dragonmaw
clans top their list. They have had somewhat a tenuous peace with the
Frostwolf Clan, who share their snowy home. This has changed recently, however, with the battle
between the Frostwolves and the Stormpike Clan escalating. They also respect the tauren, for similar reasons to the
night elves, and are outright hostile to the trolls. It is hard to go against centuries of racial enmity there.

Titles, Benefits, and Duties: Many in the Winterfury Clan are masters of
the shamanistic arts, and they can create "spirit infusions' that give the
recipient a measure of the fortitude and strengths of their ancestral spirits.
This is accomplished through a small ritual ceremony held in honor of the recipient.
This ritual is how affiliation benefits are delivered.

Order of the Silverhawk
Symbol: The symbol of the order is a silver silhouette of a two-headed
hawk with wings spread, on a sapphire blue background. The two-headed hawk
symbolizes the new cooperation between the Elves and the Forsaken in the
reclamation of Silvermoon and QuelThalas.
Background, Goals, and Dreams: The Order of the Silverhawk are a group
of elves and former elves who protect QuelThalas from any more threats and
bring Silvermoon to its former glory. Having lost much in the last two wars,
these elves vow to never let anything of the sort happen again. They also
serve as guides and protectors to travelers. More recently, the Order of the
Silverhawk has been ever more proactive in the defense of Silvermoon. They
actively seek out the Scourge and slaughter them on-site, actively working
with Lady Sylvanas to track them down, as well as supporters of the Scourge.
Many elves, however, think of this group as a bunch of vigilantes.
Members: The leader of the Order of the Silverhawk is High Commander
Ielenia Silverhawk Hawkwhisper (HE2/Hnt10/ShR6), a young but experienced High
Elf. Second in command is a Blood Elf who goes only by the name
Warhawk (Pal6/ShK9). Most members of the Order are elven or half-elven hunters,
scouts, and warriors. There are a few rogues, even some elven druids.
Rarely, a paladin might find the call of the forest and join. With the
addition to some of the Forsaken into the Order, Dark Rangers are becoming
a more common sight. Common prestige classes among the Order are the
Silverhawk Ranger and Silverhawk Knight. They care little for allegiances such
as the Alliance or the Horde.
Ielenia 'Silverhawk' Hawkwhisper (High Elf 2/ Hnt 10/ShR 6) - The founder and leader of the
Order, she goes by the rank of High Commander. She fought at the end of the Second War,
and had always looked up to the hero of that war, Alleria Windrunner. Following the aftermath of the Third War, she vowed
that no other race would ever threaten her homeland again, and created the Order of the Silverhawk to accomplish that task.
Enemies and Allies: The Order of the Silverhawk considers the High Elves
who remained home as their allies, yet those that have abandoned Quel'Thalas
are traitors in the eyes of its members. They also consider the Scourge, those
that aid them, and anyone that threatens Quel'Thalas in any form as
their mortal enemies.
Type: Fighting Company (racial).
Scale: 6 (city)
Affiliation Score Criteria: To gain affiliation with the Order, you must be
either a High Elf, Blood Elf, or half-elf and show allegience to Quel'Thalas.
More recently, the Forsaken who were once elves themselves may be allowed
to join, but they must have done something remarkable in the eyes of
Ielenia and the rest of the Order, and have the best intentions for
QuelThalas and Silvermoon City.
