This is a MASSIVE worldwide mission, and has multiple parts. We're trying to get Silverchair played in all the cities where the upcoming international tour is hitting. If we all pull together and do this, we might actually accomplish this task in at least a few of the cities. I've spent weeks working on pulling all this information together (mostly sites in languages I don't speak), so please help out.
Also, THERE WILL BE PRIZES. Did I get your attention yet? Since we're just fans running this, prizes won't be amazing autographed things, but they'll be the best we can supply. You'll have your choice between the following:

Here's the first part of the mission...
When clicked on, the following link will bring up your mail program, and the e-mail will be addressed to every radio station listed in the table that's on this page if you scroll down. Write an e-mail request for "The Greatest View" (it's the only song that all of the stations probably carry). I'm hoping that regardless of the fact that a lot of the stations are not in English, they will still get the gist of the e-mail and play the song, so keep your e-mail request short.
Sending your requests through this link will also automatically enter you into the competition. Just don't change any of the e-mail addresses. The more times you request Silverchair through this link, the more points you get in the contest... just don't request the song too repeatedly, because that would make the radio stations angry.

(Unfortunately, some mail servers may say there are "too many recipients", in fact, I just got this error with Hotmail. If you recieve this error, you may want to do your requests in two parts, using these links: one and two. If you still have no luck, just use the table below and e-mail random stations individually.)
If you don't use Outlook Express or any other mail program, and just use Hotmail or another web-based e-mail, you can e-mail all these stations, too. Address your e-mail to [email protected] (that's us, and your way of entering the contest), and into the "BCC" section of your e-mail, paste the following e-mail addresses:
We put commas between the e-mail addresses to seperate them, but if your mail uses a different technique to seperate multiple e-mail addresses, you'll have to change them. After pasting those addresses into the "BCC", as the subject of your e-mail, put "Request". Then, of course, type the e-mail requesting Silverchair, and send it.
And, the second part of this mission...
If you live in, or have friends in any of the following cities (or even just nearby), send them the form e-mails we've made up. Just click the button next to the letter for the city your friend lives in/near to copy it to your clipboard, then paste the whole thing into an e-mail (either go to "Edit --> Paste" or hit "Ctrl+v"), and send it. It's that simple. :) If you wanna alter the letter slightly, feel free to do that, as well. We just have these form letters up to make it easier for you. :) Also, include the e-mail address "[email protected]" in your recipients, and you'll be entered into the contest again (the more people you send this to, the more points you'll recieve toward winning).
