Not that anyone's ever going to see this, but I figured I should update to say this just in case someone decides to actually visit this website again.           We've (obviously) given up on the Asylum. Not for the same reason as S.T.O.M.P. (theirs being that they stopped caring about Silverchair because they weren't making enough money for Atlantic), but because you guys gave up on us. On our last mission, we only had 6 people actually do the mission. We literally put months of effort into preparation of that mission, offered prizes (sorry guys, we won't be giving those out because there weren't even enough of you competing for us to choose a winner), and for you guys to not even pay any attention to it has made us realize that we're just wasting our time on this site. We're deeply sorry to those of you who did the last mission, and actually cared. Thank you for trying.           RIP: Silverchair Asylum, 2002 - 2003.

Well, it took me well over a month, and the tour starts today, but I finally got the new mission finished and ready for you guys. You do NOT have to join the Asylum to complete this mission (or any mission for that matter), so please, go and try to spread some chair. It's in the "Mission" section (duh ;) ).

Don't worry folks, we haven't gone the way of the official street team. We're still here, just been trying to figure out a new attack after the first two failed. :( I've (finally) come up with a concept for massive attack to coincide with the international tour (sorry Aussies, it's obviously too late to work with the Aussie tour as well, but we'll be targeting OZ in the future, don't you worry), and will be working on it as soon as I post this update. :D           Also, Kym wants to apologize that the new members haven't been posted yet, she's just been really busy lately. They'll be posted soon, though. :)           And, speaking of the last attack (umm... well, sort of... haha), a video-specialized attack force has set up camp. Everybody, we have an impromptu new mission! It is an ORGANIZED TRL attack, and will be happening next month. We need help from everyone to gather as many as people as possible. Please see the Mission page for full details on how to go about assaulting TRL.           In other news, one of our members, Kirsty from Greymouth, NZ, is going to be putting together a zine for the team. In the next couple days (or even hours if I'm quick enough hehe), there will be a poll put up to find out if you guys would prefer a printed version of this, or an ezine. The first mission is up in the (duh) "Mission" section! :D And, before any of you get mad at me for picking my local radio station, I want you to know that it's only because I want to be able to monitor it. Next up will be LA, because Kym can monitor that. And, hopefully, we'll get volunteers for other cities, as well, in the future. Yes! Finally, Nikki and I have managed to correct our join form. It now works flawlessly! That means yes! Go ahead and tell everyone you know about this site! You'll never again have to worry about us not receiving something :) And Nikki would also like to say: Woohoo!           I wanna thank you all again for signing up, because we now have 68 members! Be on the lookout in your mail and on this site when we hit 75, because our first mission will commence! See ya!

I wanted to wish all the Chairheads a happy new year! May there be many Silverchair shows for most of everyone around the globe. Also I wanted to congratulate Daniel Johns and Natalie Imbruglia on their recent engagement. May they have many wonderful, happy years together!           I also wanted to thank all the new members that signed up to support this team. We love you all! Your joining this team not only shows that you support the band, but that you support the cause (promotion). The boys should feel truly blessed to have such caring fans. Let's hope many more will follow with us!

Welcome to the brand spankin' new unofficial Silverchair street team! If you're wondering why we made this, since there's already an official Silverchair street team, please go to the "About" section. There is still a lot left to come on this site, and it will ALWAYS be changing... so make sure you check back every once in a while. :) I'm really excited about this team, and I really hope it's successful, because Silverchair deserves to have their music exposed to the public, which at the moment just isn't happening in most parts of the world.
