I had this thought that maybe I could write eps (or episode reviews rather) for Buffy S7 (yes, that far in the future). Alas, I realised I'd need some help with figuring out what would be going on by S7 Buffy. I brought silver on board as another person who could write some ep reviews for the season yet-to-come. Together we considered what things coulda/shoulda/woulda happened in Buffy S6 and have got an idea of what will be happening over the course of S7 of Buffy. I roped silver into writing ep1 review and as a result I am doing ep2. After that, we may write more but if you're interested in writing an ep review for Buffy S7, contact me (probably in chat) or silver.

Okay...Doyle?s already explained what we?re doing, but let me take it a step further and let you know that we had to think long and hard about what we thought was likely to happen in season 6. We have to operate on a certain basis of assumptions of the season, in order to know what to do with season 7. For instance, it?s pretty much known that Buffy?s going to be brought back from the dead, so we were able to surmise that s6 was going to deal a lot with her coping with being alive again, and such. We also all pretty much know that Giles is only a recurring character in s6, so it was reasonable to assume that he?d be the same in s7. We assume that Xander and Anya do, indeed get married in s6. Etc. What follows is a character base of things that have ? happened? with each character since the end of season five, up until the ?beginning? of season 7 (that we?ve pretty much speculated was possible):
Season 6:
Xander...marries Anya; continues to advance in his construction company.
Anya...marries Xander; takes over running the magic box for Giles, when the watcher returns to England.
Willow...Junior year of college...she?s a Teacher?s Assistant part time.
Tara...also a junior in college, she works as a palm-reader at a local Tarot shop.
Dawn...becomes more able to take care of herself under Giles and Spike?s tutelage over the summer after Buffy?s death. When Buffy is revived, they clash a bit over Buffy being the authority figure.
Giles...leaves for England...comes back occasionally as a recurring character.
Buffy...comes back from the dead...pissed that she?s alive. Eventually, through some ?big episode? she decides again that life is worth living. Struggles to take care of Dawn and readjust to life.
Spike...the chip stops working in s6, but he eventually realizes that he?s changed too much to go back to the way he once was. Unsure of what his purpose is unlife, anymore...the only thing he?s really sure of is his devotion to keeping Dawn safe, and he stays on ?for now? to help the Scooby Gang until he figures out what?s going on. In the meantime, he?s entered into silent partner-ship with Willie the Snitch, and moves out of the crypt into an above-ground apartment.
