Red wolves
| The red wolf is a smaller species of wolf. it is only 15-16 in to the sholder, 55-65 in long and weighs 40-90 lbs. Red wolves have a litter size from 2-3 puppies. currently the red wolf was declared extinct in the wild in 1980, due to a succesful breading program there are currently 80 red wolves in the wild. red wolf packs are generally smaller than gray wolf packs. red wolfs eat small mamals such as rabbits and mice, ocasionally they will eat berrys and deer. |
