Gray wolves

The gray wolf,(also know as the timber wolf) is the largest of the wild canine species. it has a sholder height of 26-36 in, length of 39-80 in (from tip to tail), and weigh from 57-130 lbs. the gray wolf population is currently only capable of maintaining itself in a few of the nothern states and Canida. gray wolves can run at speeds of 35 mph. Gray wolf packs can have up to 35 members in a pack. about 2,500 gray wolves live in the lower 48 states and 10,000 in Alaska. Gray wolf colors range from grays, whites blacks ,and red. Litter size can vary from 2-11 pups.
