Best TP/Experience ratio: 0.25The TP/Experience ratio here isn't very good. If you gained enough levels in the KOS-MOS Simulator Part I, then you won't need any more experience before the boss battle, and it would be advisable to avoid all battles. This can easily be done by walking instead of running when you are near enemies.

You now have access to the first save point in the game. Use it unless you want to start an entirely new game if you die. Afterward, head down the stairs on the right. Descend the ladder to your left and continue downward.
A monster will come out of the box on the left if you detonate it, so you can leave it alone. The box to the right contains an Ether Pack. The box after that contains 2 Med Kit S.
Past those two boxes, you can blow up a pile of trash to find Sector Address Number 10. You can't open it yet, because you don't have the key. So head back to the room with the save point where you descended from the ladder. This time, go through the door on the right.
You are now inside that room that you couldn't enter before. Grab the mission key from the desk. Then detonate the object blocking the door on the right. Disable the lock, then exit through the door. Head right, and descend the stairs. Open the large door with your newly acquired mission key, and get ready for the first boss battle.
The red vector box contains the Battle Passport, which will allow you to play an A.G.W.S. mini-game at save points that have an EVS plate. However, when you approach it, a Drone GX will go against you to battle. Use KOS-MOS's slash attack (hit square square) and use Shion for healing if necessary. After the battle Shion will be forced to leave the encephalon, before she can pick up the Battle Passport. You'll have to go back inside the encephalon again later if you want to pick it up.
