I don't know what
made me love this story so totally, but a guess is the fact that
it is so. . . so lovely towards Trowa and Duo. Things and happenings
add up in a calm way and I relaxed while reading the story. Nothing
was complicated, if you get what I mean. Things happened, people
reacted towards it and people got over it after a while. The pace
in the story was excellent. |

I have just now got a strange
passion for 6x2 (but fear not, 1x2 is still my favourite) and this
story is really good. The first two parts in the series is PWP-ish
and I wasn't sure how much I actually liked it, so I stopped reading.
Then, about two months later, it all began to nag me and I just
had to read more, and I became pleasantly suprised - the story actually
developed a plot. I especially liked how Heero is written for some
reason. *shrugs* Still, only read if you have a lot of time because
this thing is loooooong. |

Wow. This story leaves me completely
awed. Like I told Trixie in a review so can this be sappy without
being cheesy and sweet without being teeth-rotting. But the main
theme is angst. Dark, depressingly depressing angst. Trixie does
a good job of capturing Trowa's . . . indifference for certain things
in this fic, as well as those rare tender moments we get to see
in the series. I can really *see* him get together with Duo in this
story too. They really are more alike than one thinks at first.

Of course, all the parts in the
Babysitter Series are good, but this one is the one that made me
go brush my teeth because of the pure sweetness of it all. (though
that is not a bad thing) Everyone are so adorable! Especially Milliardo
in this story because I don't really like him in other fan fictions.

Yup folks, this is one of the
few recs I'll give you that doesn't contain any kind of romance.
The second part is the best, (in my opinion) and it's one of the
few stories I actually like that sets in the Maxwell church. It's
not clicheéd, and you gotta love Duo when he was little.
He's adorable, cute but is also surprisingly smart and.. deep. His
clear way of seeing things can be heart-breaking sometimes because
of the honestly in it. Something that also stuck to me was how Zooie
described the children over all, and their antics, like how Helen
caught a kid lick the window once. It is totally true and it is
what children do sometimes. ^_^ |
