Well hello and welcome. I first will say thank you for taking the time to look through my website. I hope you are finding everything well. I guess you are wondering about the person behind the art. Then I should tell you a little about myself.
SheWolfGeo is just a nick that I use online. I've had this nick for over 5 years. Starting using when I was very young actually. Now, don't go thinking I'm over the hill, cause I'm not. (yet)
Now, I am a self taught artist. You can say I was born with a pencil in my hand. Throughout my childhood I always entered into the poster art contest they had. Including in high school, where one of my designs won a contest and then was placed on the school's project prom tee-shirts. That was very nice.
I'm a strong believer that you can't be taught how to draw by someone else. It's something that you and you only have to work at it. It needs to be practice everyday, just like a sing or musican needs too. Yes, I've tooken art classes, but they don't teach you how to draw, only how to better yourself. You learn techniques in art classes, nothing more. It's actually great, you can learn may ways to use a type of medium that you didn't know you could use it in that way.
I find the best subjects of art are animals, hence the reason most of my work are of them. Though over half of my animal art are of horses. I take great pride in horses. They are wonderful animals to work with.
I happen to own horses, wouldn't have it anyother way. Of course I do own a few other farm animals, including chickens and cattle. Oh and Great Danes, I just can't forget the "gaint" of the dog world. They truely are one of a kind breed.
I'm from the hills of Eastern Kentucky. I have strong feelings for my roots and family. My current age is 22 years old. I'm a part-time college student, and a part-time employee. I'm married (of 3 years), but no childern at this time. I have plans of either becoming a teacher or own my own business. As fas as degree I'm much closer to the business area, I have a good knowledge over it. Though I would enjoy teaching art, it just may not happen. That takes money that I don't have.
