Hardy Boys, not Hardy Bears

My son watches the Bearinstein Bears - I don't even think I have that spelled correctly - I don't watch it, if I can help it. Well I grew up on the Hardy Boys. They were great until I was in my late teens. At that time I realized the contents of those pages really didn't do it for me anymore. Anyway, here you can see which volumes I have in my collection, and which ones I still need.

I didn't read Nancy Drew, but since I am such a compulsive collector, not too long ago, I decided to collect the Nancy Drew mystery stories as well. I don't read them, but hey, when I have a daughter, she can read them when she is old enough - if she wants. Again, like the Hardy Boy page, you can see which volumes I have and which ones I need. Oh the evils of video games

A couple of brothers in Parry Sound introduced me to the NES and Mario and Luigi back in the mid '80s. Since then friends and I have gone through a lot of games, on various platforms. Addictive? Yes. Costly? Yes. But hey, it's better than collecting Beanie Babies. Games here.

Yes, all Star Wars fans are geeks

I agree, all Star Wars fans are geeks. A lot of people are not even into science-fiction, let alone Star Wars. And why do I have an urge to collect little hard plastic action figures? I don't know, maybe something happened in my childhood. After we burned and exploded those little green, plastic army men, maybe I felt bad and decided to collect figures instead of putting them on fire. Got myself a VIP pass
