| Each of our students will be a part of an academic team whose teachers instruct students in the core subjects. The students on the team will be randomly divided into classes of approximately 20 students. Team members work closely together to develop an integrated program of study and activities, as well as help students work cooperatively with the counselor, administrator and parents when problems arise that interfere with a students learning. Junior high school activities and learning experiences are age appropriate and sequential. A forty-minute lunch period provides opportunity to socialize. Extra-curricular after school activities will be available in grades seven through nine. Junior High involves a great deal of learning in the areas of increased personal responsibility, understanding the relationship between behavior and consequences, and building positive relationships with peers and adults. Academic and elective classes are structured so students have an opportunity to succeed at their highest level. We are please to be working with your child and know that we can count on your support.
