Tomb King: Setep-en-Imen

King Setep ordering his army to attack those who defile his pyramid.

Look at me! I'm Flammable and riding a burning chariot!!

King Setep-en-Imen is the 5th-dynasty Khemrian King, as can be seen in the Tomb Kings Army Book. The sword he is holding is, of course, the Blade of Setep. I chose this name for my King, because it also has a real meaning in Egyptian: the Chosen of Amun. All my characters will have names that can be translated (freely) into English. I'll always give said translation. Depending on how I want to use him, I have a Tomb King in Chariot model for Setep, or the normal Tomb King on foot. Both can represent King Setep. The flames on the chariot represent the Chariot of Fire Magic Item, the eye om the side is the Golden Eye of Rah-Nutt and the banner is the Icon of Rulership Enchanted Item, so all three are represented on the chariot. I usually don't give him the Eye though. I'd rather buy him an armour for its points.

King Setep's bandages are painted Scorched Brown, the gold was given a basecoat of Shining Gold (over a Skull White undercoat), washed with Chestnut Ink, and then highlighted with Burnished Gold and Mithril Silver. The metal on the sword was painted Dwarf Bronze, then painted over with Mithril Silver and then parts of the silver were rubbed off again to give it the stained look it has. The Chariot was painted Scab Red and Hawk Turquoise. The chariot's scythes and flames are made of Green Stuff, and the banner is also converted using Green Stuff.
